Memories...

I've gotta go and score a Derby bout in about an hour (and yes derby ladies .. I can be bribed!), so here's a quickie.

But, not just any quickie ... just the Best. Single. Comic Strip. Ever.

(at least, I think so!)

And the bestest part?

That dude already has two kills! And cool shades!

Man, I so love this strip. And miss it. I know we all do. Watterson was the best ever, and for me - this was my favorite.

Oh, how I miss Calvin & Hobbes. I'll never forget the first time I read it. The strip that day featured a very realistically-drawn songbird belting out "On Top of Spaghetti" at the top of its lungs. Too, too funny. :-)

Calvin & Hobbes was the best all-around comic strip since Peanuts. I guess we only get a strip like that once every 40 years or so. Funny to grownups and kids alike.

It's hard to believe it's been 13 years since the strip ended :-( Where have you gone, Bill Watterson??

Gosh I miss this comic strip.

*sigh*

On the other hand, Dinosaurs in F-14's is even better than Nazis riding Dinosaurs.

You just can't go wrong with Dinosaurs.

Only one thing is even close to that level of cool. Devil Dinosaur in Nextwave.
