Particiaption!

Still feeling a bit .. off.. and not really up to a full-fledged post, so here's a halfway finished 'shop that you.. yes YOU! .. can help out with by supplying Sluggo's punchline! Whee!

Actually, I really couldn't think of anything worthy of that image. And I really didn't "match" Sluggo up to the other things in the cover very well, did I? Anyway, wouldn't you want to read the inside story? Aliens? Time travel? Ray gun accident? Sluggo's wacky invention? Nancy practical joke? Marvel comics summer cross-over? I can't really decide..

Well, back to the shower...

Crap. I can't think of anything either. Except that maybe Sluggo has been hanging out with some old Flash villains.

Hey, SOUP -- what types (brands) of skates does yours and Roller Girl's team wear? And do you skate flat track or curved track?

Individual skates, like baseball mitts, are personal choices for the girls. The Roller Girl uses Riedell. If you're asking whether they can use in-line or not .. no. They must use quads. The ref's can use inline, but they don't.. it's more "authentic" to use quads.

And we skate on Flat track here, mainly because it's more common and can be set up anywhere with enough tape and floor space - Banked tracks needs a lot more hardware and you really only see it in big markets that can afford a dedicated Roller Derby track.

Thanks for the info! No, not interested in inline skates -- wanted REAL skates. ;-)

Just found out we have a team here in Indianapolis -- the Naptown Roller Girls! Flat-track team. Gonna see if we can catch some meets!
